Last Friday was the OUT 100 Gala at Gotham Hall. And if you weren't getting drunk there hoping to fuck someone then you were probably drinking somewhere else hoping to fuck someone, both of you wondering if you would have found richer asses at this shmancy event.

You wouldn't.

If you didn't make it, you missed it. And if you missed it you read about it - John thought it was lackluster, Queerty thought it was tacky and Aaron thought everyone missed the point. But in the end the gays still jam-packed the doors trying to get in for......well.....alcohol? Yes, indeed.

As we here at Drunk Gays sit around, drinking and talking to each other, and then drinking and talking but not really listening and then drinking and mumbling and stumbling and so on....we wonder, where does it all lead?

We've received some really fun input from friends and old lovers and new lovers bosses and beyond. But we're all about growing so let's try an experiment - Drunk gays happens every night all over this fine city.

Some have suggested this blog really ought to remain a one hit wonder. Go down in the annals of history as the blog that could have been. And as much as I appreciate that input, I feel it our duty as a gay community equipped with digital cameras to document the follies that befall us.
But to fully appreciate the origins of drunk gays let me take you back, way back, to the summer of 2008 and more specifically ye olde Metropolitan BBQs. The ones where you say you're there for just one and end up staying until you can't count past one. Well ladies and gentlemen, trannies and otherwise identified individuals....this is our beginning and it all starts with the scantily clad:
